LOS ANGELES (MarketWatch) — Bubba Watson fought off 20-year-old Jordan Spieth to win his second Masters on Sunday, capitalizing on a four-shot swing against the youngster on the eighth and ninth holes to claim the green jacket. The two started the day tied before Spieth grabbed a two-stroke lead early. Watson’s huge drives and strong putting was eventually too much for Spieth, who finally showed some youthful inexperience. Spieth would have been the youngest champion to ever win the Masters. Watson, 35 years old, shot a 69 in the final round to finish at eight under par. The tournament lacked some of its star punch, with Tiger Woods injured and Phil Mickelson missing the cut for the first time in 17 years.
