Kentucky ends Wichita’s perfect season with78-76 win in NCAA tournament

SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) — Kentucky ended Wichita’s dream of a perfect season Sunday, upsetting the Shockers 78-76 to advance to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA men’s basketball tournament. Wichita, now 35-1, was the first of the four regional top seeds to fall. Kentucky the eighth seed in the Midwest Regional, now is 25-10 and will meet old rival Louisville in the Sweet 16 The last undefeated team to win the NCAA championship was Indiana University in 1976.
